“Harry L. Gold” by Lucas Adams

Gold-Memorial-C“Harry L. Gold” by Lucas Adams is a bronze bust at the northwest corner of Main and Seventh streets on the downtown Square. Harry Gold lived 1920-1996. He was the owner of Gold’s Department Store and a local philanthropist who served on the Georgetown City Council for 14 years. He was active in civic causes including the Chamber of Commerce and the Georgetown Public Library.
