Arts and Culture Brown Bag Luncheons
12 p.m. | Thursday, April 13 | Friends room at the Georgetown Public Library
The quarterly Arts and Culture Brown Bag Luncheon returns at noon April 13. Pack your lunch and join us at the Georgetown Public Library for a presentation by principal of Wang Architects, Gary Wang, AIA. His presentation, “Art as Art, Landscape as Art, Architecture as Art,” explores how the built environment can connect the public to – and even become – public art. Wang Architects is located in Georgetown, and Gary also teaches design and architecture at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. Updates from arts and culture stakeholders in the Downtown Georgetown Cultural District will follow Wang’s presentation.
