The Artisans’ Workbench commitment to community enrichment and engagement through creating with various mediums and techniques that include metal, stones, leather, paints, mixed media, and wood, sewing, metalsmiting, leather working and much more compose the forefront of the organization.

The Artisans’ Workbench offers classes, workshops, and special occasion creative gatherings in the maker spaces or venues of the organizer’s choice.

The Artisans’ Workbench offers artists and makers a place to learn and share the many aspects of business development and sustainability in the growing art arena, provide space for public access to their creations in their chosen mediums through pop-up shops in our storefront, mentions in our digital and print marketing, discussions on mingling various techniques and mediums and mentoring those new to the arts of Georgetown. An apprentice program is also offered.

Adults with functional challenges are celebrated and empowered here through the sale of their handmade creations of pottery, cards, jewelry and more.
