Event Details

The Sarofim School of Fine Arts’ Theatre Department is proud to present this bold adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s Reigen by Steven Dietz.

Behind closed doors, a series of lovers encounter the most sincere and staggering moments of their lives. A single silver bracelet weaves its way through this chain of complicated affairs as it is lost, found, stolen and gifted from one passionate exchange to the next. In this daring and unapologetic American adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s Reigen, each rendezvous reveals the complex and sometimes costly truth of loving another person.

American La Ronde runs September 24–26 in the Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are free for Southwestern students, faculty, and staff. Discounts are available for teachers, students, military, and seniors. Click here for tickets.
