Artist: Scy Caroselli
Dimensions: 5’H x 16″W x 16″D
“I am inspired by the powerful lines of the human form. I use those same lines to create the illusion of strength, hope and faith in each of my sculptures. I sculpt pieces that I hope will empower and strengthen one to attain their own purpose. I chose bronze to be my final form because of its permanence.
The Sculpture Zenith: “I wanted to sculpt a piece to encourage women to attain inner strength. The woman in this piece represents all women. The ribbon wrapped around her body represents the journey through life. When we strive to reach our top potential in life, we reach a Zenith. ” Scy Caroselli
Scy Caroselli was also recently commissioned by Brookwood in Georgetown (BIG) to create the sculpture honoring the life and legacy of Gracie Kiltz. The sculpture is located in front of the Amazing Grace Building on the BIG campus.
This piece is on loan to the City of Georgetown from the artist with support from the Georgetown Arts & Culture Board, and will be on exhibit through November 2021. To view this piece on the online Sculpture Tour map, please click here.
