Event Details

“Moody Blues” – a solo art exhibit by Virginia Headley Maserang – is a series of mixed media encaustic work  created in response to the emotional landscape of current events. The works focus on Maserang’s reconciliation of the trauma and challenges of our time with her sense of both vulnerability and resilience. The color indigo weaves throughout, evocative of both strength and mystery.
Artist Reception for Moody Blues is on May 17 from 5:30-7pm
The artist will give a brief talk on “Painting with Fire – The Art of Encaustic”.
This program is free and open to the public.
The works will be on exhibit at City Hall through June 30, 2022.
