Event Details

The theme of Black History Month for 2021 is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.” The Black Family, as well as Black individuals, have shaped and led Williamson County in innumerable ways. Enslaved peoples and their descendants settled this county, represented Wilco in wars, treated ill, and led us to a brighter future. The Black Family contains a multitude of accomplishments and generational legacies of excellence. Join us in celebrating a few individuals, families, and groups who are integral to the history of Williamson County. Heritage and Horizons opens to the general public February 10th.
