Event Details

Congregation Havurah Shalom of Sun City Georgetown, in partnership with the Georgetown Public Library, will be bringing the traveling exhibit “Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank” to the Library from October 2-November 15.  Anne Frank: “Let Me Be Myself” is sponsored in North America by the Anne Frank Center USA and was developed by the Anne Frank House.

This new exhibit brings the lessons of the Holocaust into the present with added commentary from six contemporary teens who have been excluded and discriminated against.  The exhibit teaches the effects of intolerance, discrimination and racism.

This exhibit is suitable for middle school, high school, home schoolers, and adults. Docent led tours can be scheduled on the website: www.annefrankexhibitgeorgetown.com.
