The Arts and Culture Program now hosts two semi-annual Art Strolls in October and April where participants can engage in interactive arts experiences at arts and culture facilities and arts based businesses across the Cultural District that include artist demonstrations, performances, live music, shopping opportunities, and collaborative public art projects. October 2022 will also include the new annual South Main Arts Festival – a juried and curated artistic event in celebration of October Month of the Arts – that will showcase arts and culture and live music for one full day in the new South Main Arts District behind Grace Heritage Center.

Save the Date for the October Month of the Arts celebrations that include the Georgetown Autumn Art Stroll and Sculpture Tour Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4-8pm in the Downtown Georgetown Cultural District. The Georgetown Main Street Program will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on Friday, October 21 from 4-8pm in the South Main Arts District. The final event of the month will be Georgetown’s inaugural South Main Arts Festival on Saturday, October 22 from 10am-6:30pm and feature artist booths, street performers, a yarn bombing public art project and live music from headliner Sue Foley!
