REIMAGINING – From Upcycling to Abstraction: Finding Beauty in the Ordinary

 

REIMAGINING features the work of two Texas artists, Judy Gibson King and Jane Lovett Wells. Judy’s textile baskets made from upcycled clothing and Jane’s oil paintings of Texas landscapes and architecture are works that resonate with people. The artwork in the show reflects their shared passion for finding beauty in the ordinary and transforming the everyday into something meaningful and beautiful.

Exhibit Dates: February 16, 2024 – March 17, 2024

(The Georgetown Art Center is closed on Mondays)

Opening Reception: February 17, 4-6 p.m.

Artist Talk: February 18, 2 p.m.
