The Sarofim School of Fine Arts’ Music Department is proud to present pianist Maria Lyapkova as part of the Sarofim Music Series.

Maria Lyapkova is a pianist and educator based in the Austin area. She graduated with a master’s degree in piano performance from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory before pursuing a doctorate of musical arts at the University of Texas. She is an accompanist and collaborative pianist with thirty years of international performance experience in Russia, Europe, and the United States. Lyapkova is also the founder and CEO of LYA Music Piano Academy.

Join us for this one-night only performance on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alma Thomas Theater.

Tickets are free for Southwestern students, faculty, and staff. Discounts are available for teachers, students, military, and seniors.
