Southwestern Percussion Ensemble: Here

This semester the small-and-mighty Southwestern Percussion Ensemble has been knee-deep in music that has been either written, arranged, or premiered “here” in Central Texas. The program features a series of duets performed by Dr. Jordan Walsh and student Malcolm Hisky by composers including Caroline Shaw, Ivan Trevino, and Dave Molk. The duo will be joined by local percussionists Brandon Berlanga and Michael Smith for a performance of “Springs”, a quartet for percussion by legendary composer Paul Lansky.
