Event Details

The Field of Honor® is a dramatic, emotion-filled display of 1,700+ full-size, 5′ x 3′ U.S. flags

In its fourth year, the Rotary Club of Georgetown’s growing signature event will take your breath away. Help us publicly thank and benefit Heroes that exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”

Each flag is available for purchase and personal dedication in honor of our military – past, present, active or reserve duty – and all first responders, including K-9 service heroes!

This year we also include heroes that valiantly serve amid the COVID-19 pandemic, such as medical professionals, teachers, grocery and other food providers, delivery drivers, and many who are working hard to serve us during this crisis.

Now, more than ever, your support is most needed! Net proceeds from all types of flag sales, and your generous donations for flags, will benefit local organizations that support veterans, active and reserve duty military – past or present, first responders, K9 heroes, and those who support individuals and/or families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The field is open 24/7 from Nov. 7th to Nov. 15th. Although the exciting events that are normally held at the Field of Honor® throughout the week of Veterans Day have had to be cancelled this year due to COVID-19, the majestic flag display will proudly fly all week! We encourage all to visit. Safe distancing and masks will be required to ensure safety for all.

The Field of Honor® is licensed through the Colonial Flag Foundation.
