The “Symphony of Images” exhibit by members of the Central Texas Pastel Society features a collection of pieces that were done to meet the group’s monthly challenge themes over the past year, during which they met via Zoom rather than in person. The themes ranged from seasons of the year to “Paint like your Favorite Artist.” Their shared art was sharing life in a difficult time. The Central Texas Pastel Society is a 20+ year old organization that exists to promote the medium of pastel. They meet monthly September through May with workshops, demonstrations and exhibiting opportunities. They welcome artists at all levels of their artistic journey.
