Portraits of Independence: A Celebration of Our Seniors explores Georgetown seniors who have lived an impressive span of eight decades or more with lifetime contributions of war heroes, moms, travel agent, photographers and more. Photographer Christine St. Laurent developed this exhibit with Faith in Action, a Georgetown non-profit organization whose mission is to help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life by providing transportation and other support services free of charge.
