The Georgetown Public Library hosts “Live Music at the Library” at 2 pm the third Sunday of most months of the year; the concerts are free and open to the public, and no longer require registration. Seating is limited to 200 attendees.
Performance on December 17th from 2:00PM to 3:30PM
A Special Interest Group- SIG of the Sun City Singers Club
Get in the holiday spirit with the Sun City Mountain Dulcimers as they present a good old holiday sing-along. A toe tapping, finger snapping and all round involved gig! Song Books will be available on a limited basis (to be returned) so it will be easy to join in. There will be a few surprises from the Blue Skies Band- our official support players throughout the performance.
The Sun City Mountain Dulcimer SIG was started in 2005 at the Sun City Farmer’s Market when a couple of folks played outside. Since then, the group has played numerous gigs in independent, assisted and memory care facilities and programs in the Georgetown area.
The highlight of each year is our benefit concert for the Caring Place Food Pantry. This concert is held in February of each year. The 2024 concert is scheduled for Sunday, February 25th at the Worship Place in Sun City starting at 2:45 PM with a prelude by our Blue Skies Band and then the concert at 3:00 PM. It is a free will offering.
We look forward to meeting and playing for everyone and to your participation in this fun filled music afternoon!
Check the Library Events Calendar for more information about each performance.
This performance is a gift of the Friends of the Georgetown Public Library.
